A football game, a job, and a laser beam hat.

Well, not exactly lasers. But I'll get to that in a minute.

First of all, the football. We went to the Perth ANZAC Day game between the Dockers and Geelong. The Dockers, being the Dockers, lost. But I have to say, it was one of the best games I've ever seen them play, and it was an awesome game. It had me standing up and yelling in the last quarter right up to the final siren, at which point we lost by one miserable point. It is still one of the most thrilling AFL matches I've ever seen (although the Sydney vs. West Coast grand finals 2 and 3 years ago came pretty close. Both of them were by 1 point too. Do you see a pattern? I like a really hard match where its really really close all the way through, seat-of-your-pants style.)

Second of all, I finally got my butt into a job. Service Cashier (checkout dude) at Woolies. What can I say? Meh, its a job. The people are pretty cool though, they all seem friendly and stuff. The real reason I'm in it is for the money (which is not-so-great) which can help me to buy an Eee PC. So, I proudly present... drum rolls THE EEE-MEEETER!

**[**$$\------------------**]** Approx $100. (I haven't got my paycheck yet, plus the $80 or so I have saved already. Plus I get paid for the induction and training but I don't know how much yet.)

Finally, Dad and Matt got back from Canadia. I got all the things I asked for on my list, plus some others, my favourite of which is my LED torch hat. Check it out:

Definitely one of the coolest things ever.

Some other stuff happened this holidays, like we went ice tobogganing, and saw a couple of movies, the normal stuff. You know.

Anyway, that's all for now! (I like that. I should make that my regular sign- off...) Rocky.
